This month, we celebrate National Agriculture Day, a time to recognise and thank the incredible people behind Australia’s farms and regional industries. From the food on our tables to the clothes we wear, our rural and regional workers are the backbone of our nation.
National Ag Day is also a timely reminder for those living and working in rural areas to look after themselves. The work you do is vital, but so is your wellbeing. We encourage you to take a moment to read the RAW 2024–25 Impact Report and explore the stories of those who have reached out to RAW for support. Their experiences are powerful reminders of the strength found in connection, community, and seeking help when it’s needed most.
This AgDay, we’d also love to hear from you!
Show us a snapshot from your daily rural life, tag us online and use #AgDay25 to share your Ag story. Let’s come together to celebrate the people, places, and passion that make regional Australia thrive.

This month, we’re highlighting the RAW Fast 5: five key areas that influence your ability to stay mentally fit and strong during life’s challenges:
Mind | Mood | Connect | Body | Meaning

Every small action counts. How we show up for ourselves gives us the energy and resilience to continue showing up for others. Together, we can keep our rural communities strong, supported, and thriving.
At RAW, we’re committed to ensuring people are prepared for life’s challenges. One of the ways we do this is through Mental Health First Aid Training, empowering community members to feel confident and capable in supporting others.
