What we do

We are passionate about delivering genuine and authentic, early intervention suicide prevention for rural and remote communities.

RAW programs focus on providing face-to-face support to people throughout rural Tasmania, using tools designed to minimise the risk of suicide.

Who we are

At RAW we do things differently.

We know a barrier to reaching out for support is not feeling like people understand the complexities of the situational stressor experienced.

That's why our staff are all from rural, agricultural and primary industry communities.

Staff have backgrounds in Dairy, Livestock, Cropping, Wool Production, Fruit Growing, Forestry, Transport, Seafood, isolated living and more.

Why RAW?
"It's nice to have someone to talk to without pressure"
You've helped me during a time when I didn't know what to do, where to turn to, or how to move forward. Thank you doesn't express it enough
Don't settle for feeling alone. Reach out to this great team at RAW if you are not doing OK. There's nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed of. I speak from my own experiences and am so thankful to this incredible organisation.
